An Uber driver in Oklahoma is reportedly accusing a state senator of aggressively kissing and grabbing her at some point on a trip.

The ride-sharing employee who remains unidentified says she picked up GOP state Sen. Bryce Marlatt June 26 around 10 p.m. Not long into the drive, with a destination of a hotel in Oklahoma City, she says Marlatt reached for her and tried to press his lips against her neck, among other sexual advances, according to KFOR News.

Not knowing exactly what she needed to do right after it allegedly happened, the driver conducted some basic research at a nearby bar using the limited amount of information she can see about the rider on the app. After finding who she believes did it, she notified the police two days later and showed them a photo of Marlatt, BuzzFeed News reports.

“She was giving this person a ride,” Oklahoma City Police Department Master Sergeant Gary Knight told KFOR News. “He was in the back seat. And, he kept reaching around, grabbing her, kissing on her, things along those lines.” (RELATED: Irate Passenger Threatens To File Fake Rape Accusations Against Uber Driver [VIDEO])

The driver plans on filing official charges. Uber denied the driver’s request to give her information about the customer. The company said it doesn’t tolerate such behavior by a rider, and it would provide law enforcement officials with the necessary details, according to BuzzFeed News.

Marlatt, who was arrested in 2014 on a DUI-related charge, didn’t expect to hear the accusations, but also apparently didn’t outright deny them either.

“The senator was shocked and surprised at the allegations,” said Robert Don Gifford, Marlatt’s attorney, according to Business Insider. “He really wants to get to the bottom of this. He’s asked us to reach out to Uber, which we have. We’re trying to get to the bottom of this and figure out what’s going on.” (RELATED: Florida Woman Spits On Lyft Driver [VIDEO])

The office of Sen. Bryce Marlatt did not reach back to The Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment by the time of publication.
