An intense new trailer was released Friday afternoon for the upcoming true story “6 Days.”
The plot of the film, according to IMDB, is, “In April 1980, armed gunmen stormed the Iranian Embassy in Princes Gate, London and took all inside hostage. Over the next six days a tense standoff took place, all the while a group of highly trained soldiers from the SAS prepared for a raid the world had never seen the likes of.”
The high octane trailer features the British SAS soldiers as they rigorously train to retake the building and kill as many bad guys as possible. Judging from the trailer and the actual events, there will certainly be some bloodshed in this film.
The film stars Mark Strong, Jamie Bell and Abbie Cornish. It is currently scheduled to be released September 7.
Films centered around the military or law enforcement agencies tend to do extremely well at the box office. It’s hard to imagine a movie about British special forces slaughtering bad guys won’t crush it at the box office. They might not be American Delta Force, but the British SAS is still as badass as they come.
This movie should be great.
