Honestly, I have no idea how good these pillows are. They only have 3.8 out of 5 stars, well below the customer ratings I normally feel comfortable recommending. Still, over half of the 764 reviewers did give them a perfect score, so there are hundreds of comments like this one from Amy S., titled “Doesn’t Give In“:

And this one from JR, titled “terrific pillows!!“:

Great pillows!! These guys are the epitome of customer service. To get a hand written note from an amazon vendor is awesome, and amazing pillows to boot!! You give Em a nice fluff and they are back in business. My wife and I have searched in vein for good pillows that are hotel quality and Man is it hard!!! Buying pillows at dept chains is a waste of money!!

Are they perfect no, but damn near close. And they are American made, not made in China, another rarity. If I owned a hotel I would do business with these guys! I want to try their other products!

Buy these! Pricey but worth it!!!!

A lot of the negative comments revolve around two issues. First, these are not down pillows. (Some people seemed to believe they were). They are down alternative pillows, which means they are hypoallergenic. Secondly, folks winced at the price. As far as today goes, that is not an issue, since the standard two-pack is on sale for just $40.
