Democratic Rep. Ruben Gallego of Arizona called White House staffers Dr. Sebastian Gorka and Stephen Miller “neo-Nazis” and doubled down on his statement that President Donald Trump is a “racist” Tuesday on MSNBC.
“When you see all these things and we start looking at individually those actions are racist, and then you go to the White House and surround yourselves with neo-Nazis such as: Bannon, Miller, Gorka. At some point you have to question whether or not this man is a racist himself,” Gallego said on “MSNBC Live.”
This isn’t the first time Gallego has called Trump out for racial animus. He called the president an “absolute racist” in a radio interview this past Friday on Dean Obeidallah SiriusXM show.
“He may not think he’s a racist, I’m sure he doesn’t. But his actions are pretty strong and his words are pretty strong. So at some point whether we want to admit it or not, it is what it is,” Gallego said.
