Art Briles is out as offensive coordinator for the Tiger-Cats. Yesterday it became clear that Briles would work in the Canadian Football League after being fired as the head coach of Baylor Football.

According to TMZ Sports, the league and Tiger-Cats issued this statement: “Art Briles will no longer be joining the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as a coach. We came to this decision this evening following a lengthy discussion between the league and the Hamilton organization. We wish Mr. Briles all the best in his future endeavors.”

Briles was involved in one of the biggest scandals the school has ever seen. Those who accused the football players of sexual assault were disregarded. This led to Briles, the university president Kenneth Starr, and athletic director Ian McCaw being fired from the program.

Briles has apologized for what happened while he was head coach, and has also expressed that he would like to coach again some day.

Well, that’s not going to be today.
