I’ve never seen a Jennifer Lawrence movie where she wasn’t playing a superhero or a supervillain or an outer-space rape victim. So I didn’t have much interest in her newest flick, Mother!, even before she said what you’re about to hear. Now, it’ll take a Mr. Plinkett review to get me to see it.

“You know, it’s this new language that’s forming. I don’t even recognize it. It’s also scary to know that climate change is due to human activity, and we continue to ignore it, and the only voice that we really have is through voting…”
“You know, you’re watching these hurricanes now, and it’s really hard, especially while promoting this movie, not to feel Mother Nature’s rage and wrath,” Lawrence said.

I didn’t vote for Trump, and I didn’t pretend it was a good idea to vote for Trump. But blaming him for natural disasters is just insane, even for a Hollywood actress.
Well, at least she’s pretty.
