Officials have released an audio recording of the intense moment that police burst into the Las Vegas gunman’s room.

In the audio, posted by LiveLeak Monday, a group of officers are clearly heard gathering outside of 64-year-old shooter Stephen Paddock’s hotel room door. A loud banging sound can then be heard as police kick in the door and begin to clear the room.

“We just hit on the suspect’s door, I need everybody in that hallway to be aware of it and get back. We need to pop this and see if we can get any type of response from this guy to see if he’s in here or see if he’s actually moved out somewhere else,” an officer says in the recording, followed by “breach, breach, breach,” and an explosion.
