Portland Food Truck EXPLODES In The Middle Of A Parking Lot

A food truck exploded in Portland, Ore., Wednesday, leaving debris, food and hungry appetites lying on the asphalt in the middle of an office parking lot

A fire and explosion caused by a gasoline spill took place after a worker tried to put gasoline in the truck’s generator causing two propane cylinders to rupture in downtown Portland, reported Oregonlive.com.

The fire destroyed two food trucks and ten cars in the parking lot. The explosion also destroyed the first two food trucks, Lai Thai and Greek Gyros. The third one, Taquiera So Mexican was not destroyed from the flames.


Two people had minor injuries and were treated on the scene. No one was seriously injured during the unexpected food truck explosion.
