The majority of the Houston Texans roster refused to stand during the national anthem Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks.
There had been reports from earlier Sunday that the team might particpate in a massive protest, and those reports turned out to be entirely accurate.

The protest came in response to comments made by owner Bob McNair about national anthem protests.
“We can’t have the inmates running the prison,” the Texans owner said during a recent NFL owners meeting when discussing the protests that have swept across the league.
It’s unclear at this time if the protest will continue throughout the rest of the season, or if this was a one time incident.
