Move aside, Melania, Hope Hicks has everyone talking about her latest fashion choice.
The White House communications director decided to leave her dress behind at a state dinner in Japan Monday night and attended the event wearing a tuxedo. But here’s the thing, she pulled it off!
Usually Melania and Ivanka Trump are the talk of every event attended by the president and other members his administration, but Hicks stole the show this time around. The 28-year-old girl from Connecticut was first introduced to the Trump family through Ivanka, who hired her to work in her fashion line. After building a relationship with Trump’s daughter, she earned a role on the communications team for his presidential campaign. She remained close by Trump’s side throughout his candidacy and on into the White House.

Hicks filled in as the interim White House communications director after Anthony Scaramucci was fired from the position in August. After proving her value in the position in just a few weeks, she officially took on the role permanently in September.
Now she’s giving the Trump women a run for their money in the fashion department.
