It’s Thursday, November 16, 2017, and this is “Double Take.”
The FBI may finally be looking into Planned Parenthood’s sale of aborted baby parts after the Center for Medical Progress released a series of undercover videos that showed employees claiming to jack up the cost of fetal tissue so that they could make a profit. The hosts of Double Take talk about the despicable employees caught in those tapes who referenced whole baby parts as if they were playthings.
The big news of the day though is the sexual assault allegation against Democratic Sen. Al Franken. News anchor Leeann Tweeden alleged that Franken forcibly kissed her during a USO tour in 2006 and shared a photo that showed him groping her while she was asleep.
Franken claimed in his apology for the incident that he is an “ally” for women, but that’s hard to believe when there’s a photo of him grinning with his hands on Tweeden’s breasts.
“There’s a level of hypocrisy and there’s a level of self-righteousness,” host Julia Nista said of Franken’s behavior.
