President Donald Trump issued a de facto endorsement of Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore Sunday morning by disparaging his opponent, Democrat Doug Jones, as “weak” on border security and crime.
The last thing we need in Alabama and the U.S. Senate is a Schumer/Pelosi puppet who is WEAK on Crime, WEAK on the Border, Bad for our Military and our great Vets, Bad for our 2nd Amendment, AND WANTS TO RAISES TAXES TO THE SKY. Jones would be a disaster!

Trump’s tweet comes five days after he publicly entertained the possibility of Moore’s innocence regarding the numerous allegations that he pursued and sexually molested teen girls while in his thirties.
“He denies it. Look, he denies it. If you look at all the things that have happened over the last 48 hours. He totally denies it. He says it didn’t happen. And look, you have to look at him also,” Trump told reporters Tuesday before departing the White House for Mar-A-Lago.
He also issued a similar criticism of Jones Tuesday, citing border security and crime as reason enough to support Moore.
“We don’t need a liberal person in there, a Democrat, Jones. I’ve looked at his record. It’s terrible on crime. It’s terrible on the border. It’s terrible on military,” Trump said. “I can tell you for a fact we do not need somebody who’s going to be bad on crime, bad on borders, bad for the military, bad for the Second Amendment.”
Moore has lost some ground in the polls since the sexual harassment allegations emerged but the race remains close. Jones led by just 0.8 points As of Nov. 21, according to a Real Clear Politics poll aggregation.
