Some people seem to have the impression that I will be silenced about criticizing the college football playoff committee.

Well, I’ve got news for all the delusional people out there. I absolutely will not stop speaking the truth about the disaster that occurred yesterday when the playoff teams were announced. It was a day that will live in infamy forever. Lives were ruined in Ohio because of that idiotic playoff committee, and I refuse to stand by without saying anything. How could anybody look themselves in the mirror if they stayed silent?

My phone and e-mail have been blowing up with all the armchair experts who think they know everything about football. They just keep throwing more and more garbage my way in some futile attempt to prove that I was wrong.

I wasn’t wrong. The playoff committee was wrong. What they did must not go unanswered. If I become a martyr in this righteous fight then so be it. That is a price I’m absolutely willing to pay if necessary. I will lay it all on the line to save the sport that I love with every breath in my body.

The committee should be embarrassed, the fans who agree with it should be embarrassed and every single NCAA official who allowed this to happen should be embarrassed.

Alabama shouldn’t be in the playoff. It’s that simple. I don’t care who disagrees. What is right isn’t always what is popular.

So, I will continue to rage this fight with every ounce of energy I have. Either stand and fight with me or prepare to face down a very large portion of this country that agrees with me. We must never allow the disgrace that happened yesterday to ever happen again. That is my promise to the entire world of college football.
