The Trump campaign launched a poll asking for supporters to help them pick the biggest fake news story of the year, according to a Thursday email.

The Trump Make America Great Again Committee emailed supporters asking them to give their opinions to help the committee pick the “King of Fake News,” reports the Washington Examiner.

“At President Trump’s request, we are holding a contest to name the 2017 KING of Fake News. And we want to hear from you,” the email read. It asked people to rate three news stories as either “fake news,” “faker news,” “fakest news,” or “other.”

One option reads “ABC News ‘MISTAKENLY’ reported that candidate Trump directed Michael Flynn to make contact with Russian officials before the election.” Other choices include a CNN story that reported President Donald Trump and his son had access to WikiLeaks and a Time story that claimed Trump had a bust of Martin Luther King Jr. removed from the Oval Office.

“Americans are sick and tired of being lied to, insulted, and treated with outright condescension,” the email reads. “That’s why President Trump is crowning the 2017 King of Fake News before the end of the year. There’s no point in pretending that some journalists are anything more than peddlers of falsehoods and liberal propaganda.”

The email poll comes a month after Trump suggested a contest to rank all the news outlets, excluding Fox, to see which one is the most “dishonest” and “corrupt.”

“We should have a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me). They are all bad. Winner to receive the FAKE NEWS TROPHY!” Trump tweeted in November.
