On Monday Alabama will face down Georgia for the college football national championship.
It’s another simple reminder that America is by far the greatest country on this planet. There aren’t many things I can think of that are better than college football. Young men putting on uniforms to represent their teams and schools is as good as it gets.
There’s none of the protest garbage you see in the NFL. It’s just pure adrenaline and young men wanting to win at all costs.
My team might not be playing for a championship this year, but that doesn’t mean I don’t love the situation. The world always looks to America to be reminded that there are two kinds of countries. Those who have walked on the moon and have college football, and then there’s everybody else. Can you really be considered a first world country if you don’t have college football? I don’t think you can be.
This is America. Our women our hotter, our beer is better, our military is the best and we have college football. The rest of the world can hate it all they want, but it doesn’t stop us from winning.
I hope the rest of the world tunes in Monday, just so that they can be reminded of what they’ll never have.
God bless America and God bless college football.
