Olivia Culpo is a superstar in the modeling world, but apparently she’s not there yet when it comes to picking movie roles.
Culpo posted an Instagram video promoting a movie that she was in called “American Satan.”
The plot of the movie, according to the YouTube description on the trailer, is:
A young rock band, half from England and half from the US, drop out of college and move to the Sunset Strip to chase their dreams. Living in a van, their passion and talent exceed their means to survive. An enigmatic stranger sees their true potential and emotionally manipulates them during a time of weakness. Caught in the middle of a Faustian deal, their music and controversial altercations end up influencing society beyond anything this century has seen, but can they take back control of their destiny before it’s too late?
Look, I watch a lot of movies, and I’ve been known to dabble in the modeling world. I have no problem saying that this looks like one of the worst movies I’ve ever seen. Is Sloane’s dad from “Entourage” supposed to be the devil or something? I find that hard to believe given the fact the only thing I think about when I see him was trying to force E into signing a prenup.
I’m a big fan of Culpo. I like her work a lot, but somebody needs to start advising her on movie roles a shade better. You can’t make it big by taking roles in movies like “American Satan.” I’m not even a Hollywood power player, but this one seems like a no-brainer.
People that have modeling careers like Culpo can definitely shoot higher.
