Zach Ertz’s wife Julie got extremely emotional after being informed that her husband and the Eagles were going to the Super Bowl.
Zach is a star tight end for the Eagles, and his wife plays on the women’s national soccer team. Julie was playing Denmark Sunday when she was told that the Eagles had done the unlikely and beaten the Vikings.
It didn’t take long for the waterworks to start.

First off, the children of these two are going to be outstanding athletes. You can’t buy better genes than having a pro football-playing father and a soccer-playing for a mother. That’s like winning the lottery over and over again everyday for the rest of your life.
Secondly, the fact she looked so surprised really makes me think she was under the impression the Eagles had no chance. I don’t blame her one bit. The entire world was under the exact same impression.
What a beautiful moment. Zach’s headed to the Super Bowl, and his wife is overcome with joy. Life is pretty great for them right now.
