The famous field from the hit movie “Field of Dreams” was damaged after some clown drove a car all over it.

The field is located in Dyersville, Iowa and has been a draw for people from all over the world after the movie’s success. However, one person apparently thought he should damage it.

The Telegraph Herald reported the following:

One of cinema’s most iconic baseball fields suffered thousands of dollars in damage this week when a vandal apparently tore up the landscaping with a vehicle.

Denise Stillman, owner of Dyersville’s Field of Dreams movie site, said her team found the damage Tuesday morning. It appears that a vehicle was driven onto the field, causing significant damage.

Stillman said a damage assessment still is underway, but she anticipates repairs will cost thousands of dollars.

Why do bad people exist? What type of evil person drives a vehicle on one of the most famous baseball fields in all of the world? I’ve never visited it, but I know plenty of people who have. They all love it, enjoy hit some balls, running the bases and checking out the site from the movie.

I can’t imagine why anybody would ever even want to do something of this nature. That movie and location have brought a ton of joy. Hopefully they find the person responsible, and they’re brought to swift justice. As a society, we can’t tolerate this. Not even for a second.
