Johnny Manziel finally appears at peace, and he might even be okay never playing football again.
Manziel tweeted Thursday night, “All jokes aside. I’m happy and healthy and at a good place in my life. That’s all I can ask for.”

The tweet came after several tweets about the NFL, and whether or not he’d be eligible to play.

Maybe this is a sign that Manziel is finally in a place where he’s okay with his life and everything happening around him.
We could not say that when he was cut by the Cleveland Browns. Things looked like they were headed for a tragic end. Maybe he’s at peace with the idea of not playing football again if it means he’ll be happy. At the end of the day that’s all anybody can ask for.
I’m still holding out hope that we get to see him on a field again. It would complete an awesome comeback story.
