Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) will feature its first female starring as official mascot and franchise founder Colonel Sanders in upcoming advertisements, the company announced Thursday.

Country singer Reba McEntire is making an appearance as the white-haired Colonel Sanders to advertise KFC’s new Smoky Chicken BBQ, reported Time. McEntire’s appearance in the advertisements will last until April.

“I’m Colonel Sanders, the same as always,” McEntire says in the commercial, adding, “I’m definitely not a woman.”

McEntire, originally from Oklahoma, said that she is a huge fan of KFC and was offered the gig in December.

“I think this is going to be our most-loved Colonel yet,” added Andrea Zahumensky, KFC’s new chief marketing officer.

McEntire is the 11th celebrity to play Colonel Sanders. Actors such as Rob Lowe and George Hamilton previously played the colonel, according to USA Today.
