The New England Patriots got a sendoff of champions from their fans on Monday when the team left Foxborough for Minneapolis ahead of their second-straight Super Bowl appearance.
Thousands of fans gathered outside of Gillette Stadium to see their team off into Super Bowl week. Just before the team took off for the airport, though, Tom Brady delivered a rousing speech for the fans in attendance capped off with a mic drop for the ages.

“Thank you guys for your support all year, it’s been an incredible journey. We got one more to go. It’s gonna be fun. It’s gonna be a lot of hard work, we’re playing a great team, but I’ll tell you what we got a locker room full of guys who are ready for the challenge.” Brady said to a loud cheer from the crowd.
“We obviously can’t bring you all to Minnesota with us,” Brady continued. “But you guys are with us. We know that, you know that, we all know that–Patriot nation stronger than ever. We got one more to go, we’re gonna go out and try to win it for you guys. And that’s all we got. We love you, Patriots out!”
Thanks for a super send-off!

If the Patriots fans weren’t jacked up for the Super Bowl already, they sure as hell are now. There’s nothing quite like a rally cry from your very own fearless leader to get you going.
