The crowd at the 2018 Conservative Political Action Conference broke out into chants of “lock her up” when President Trump mentioned Hillary Clinton on Friday.
Trump warned the crowd of conservatives that if Democrats won the 2018 midterm elections, they would take away their Second Amendment rights and would repeal the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act.
“Remember this, remember this,” Trump said. “You know, somebody got on television recently and they said, ‘actually, this is the first time I can remember — Trump made campaign promises — he may be the only person that actually fulfilled more promises than he made.'”
“I fulfill more promises,” he asserted.
“But we have a very crooked media, we had a crooked candidate too, by the way,” Trump said. “We have a very very crooked media.”
Trump’s mention of Hillary Clinton prompted the crowd to break out into chants of “lock her up.”
