Pennsylvania State University pro-life students were blacklisted from attending a Thursday night event about breaking healthcare barriers, which included speaker and former Planned Parenthood President Cecile Richards.
Abortion giant pioneer Cecile Richards spoke among university panel discussion “Beyond Choice: Barriers to Healthcare in Our Communities.” Numerous interested pro-life supporters RSVPed online, were put on the attendee list, and notified of the event location Wednesday night, according to The State Patriot.
State Patriot contributor and Penn State Students for Life (SFL) secretary Sarah Nahrgang RSVPd for the panel in an interested effort to see what abortion advocates would say. She was put on the attendance list but was forced to leave upon arrival Thursday because the check-in person recognized her as a pro-life. “You’re a leader of Students for Life. You have to leave,” the person told Sarah.
SFL Vice President Julia Messina also told the State Patriot that she and another pro-life student received texts the night of the event: “Just noticed that you’re part of the leadership of Students For Life. We are hosting this event to engage our supporters, and so I have removed you from the attendees list.”
“Penn State and Planned Parenthood clearly violated Penn State’s own policies in blacklisting members of Penn State’s Students for Life group from the event,” Students for Life of America President Kristan Hawkins told The Daily Caller News Foundation.
“The decision by Planned Parenthood reflects their organization-wide fear of exposing Cecile Richards to any sort of criticism of their horrific policies, including their role in the trafficking of fetal body parts and the frequent misuse of taxpayer funds,” Hawkins added.
