Bill Cosby’s spokesperson Andrew Wyatt confirmed Monday that the comedian’s daughter, Ensa Cosby, died on Friday in Massachusetts from renal disease, CNN reported.
She was only 44 years old.
“The Cosby Family thanks many people for their prayers for their beloved and beautiful Ensa,” a statement from the entire Cosby family read.

The Cosby family has requested prayers and time to deal with the loss.
“Please keep the Cosby family in your prayers and give them peace at this time,” Wyatt shared.
TMZ reported earlier in the day, Cosby’s daughter had “significant” kidney issues and was possibly in line for a transplant to deal with the condition.
Ensa Cosby was very outspoken last year after her father was accused of sexual assault, citing racism as part of the scandal.
