HBO dropped a trailer Monday for its upcoming movie “Fahrenheit 451.”

The hit streaming network wrote the following description of the project:

Fahrenheit 451 is based on Ray Bradbury’s classic novel. In a future where the media is an opiate, history is rewritten and “firemen” burn books, Jordan plays Guy Montag, a young fireman who struggles with his role as law enforcer and with his “mentor”, played by Shannon. Premieres Spring 2018 on HBO.

The trailer is absolutely incredible, and sets the stage for an epic movie.

I don’t really remember much about the book, despite being forced to read it in high school. It’s amazing how school teachers manage to ruin books for kids by forcing us to look for themes and all that garbage instead of just enjoying it.

However, after seeing this trailer there is a sense in me that I should go read this book again. The movie looks outstanding.

It’s also worth pointing out that Shannon is riding high right now. He’s crushed it in “WACO” and now he’s in this movie. I think it’s safe to say things are going really well.
