A Virginia father named Bryan Thornhill is getting viral recognition today after posting a video of him punishing his son for being a bully on the school bus.
He captured the entire incident on camera and posted it to Facebook Live Tuesday.
“Hey everyone, welcome to you better listen to your Dad 2018,” he said in the video. “My son has finally got in trouble on the bus enough to where he was kicked off the bus for three days because he was being a little bully which I do not tolerate, can’t stand.”
Apparently Thornhill’s son had taken bullying a little too far so he got kicked off the bus for almost a whole week. So instead of letting the school handle the punishment, Thornhill took matters into his own hands. He decided to make his kid run to school in the rain every morning for five days and filmed it.
School’s only about a mile away but pretty much everywhere in the East Coast is getting battered by a Noreaster right now. So, needless to say, this little kid has been coming to school pretty soggy the last couple of days.
Now I get it. Some people are going to be upset about this video and call it lame things like “child abuse” and “mean.” But this dad is a certified G for doing this. It’s exactly how you should parent.
If your kid is being a little bully, bully him back. Don’t worry about hurting his feelings. Same thing goes for girls. I remember one time when I was younger my mom caught me making fun of a girl who lived down the street from me. And that woman reamed me out and put the fear of God into me. I never said another mean thing again.
