Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz said former Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) Director James Comey and former Deputy Director Andrew McCabe were highly “inconsistent” while testifying under oath.
Host of Fox Business’ “Mornings with Maria,” Maria Bartiromo asked Dershowitz whether McCabe or Comey should face perjury charges and he said at least one of them is lying.
He then ripped into Comey for leaking information through a friend in academia and said he lacked the courage to express his own views.

“One of them is not telling the truth,” Dershowitz said. “Obviously we know that Comey leaked and laundered information through a Columbia law professor. He didn’t have the courage to stand up in front of the television cameras and express his views that a special counsel should be appointed, so he laundered the information through a law professor. And we know therefore that he does and has leaked.”
Dershowitz also called for an investigation into their statements.
“I do think that that should be the subject of an investigation to determine who was telling the truth because McCabe and Comey seem to have stated under oath, very inconsistent points,” he concluded.
