Ted Nugent said Parkland student David Hogg has been both “brainwashed” and can’t be “fixed,” the Daily Mail reports.

“When you go from mourning, to literally calling the good families of the National Rifle Association or anybody that doesn’t side with your gun banning silliness, that somehow we support the murder of children, now that’s not just nasty, that’s not just hateful. … That goes deep into the soulless column. … It’s really a tragedy,” the 69-year-old rocker told WABC’s “Curtis and Cosby” show in New York.

“(David Hogg) has been brainwashed, and it’s tragic,” Nugent added. “I don’t think the guy can be fixed. … I don’t have anything to say to David Hogg. This guy is a lost cause.”

“He is consumed with hate,” he added. “And he is part of the problem, not the solution.”

Nugent also said that Hogg and other students calling for gun control were “not very educated” and said they “wouldn’t know an AR-15 from a pterodactyl.”

The rocker explained that rather than blaming guns for mass shootings, people should be looking for “solutions that have worked in the past.”

It was not the first time Nugent has weighed in on Hogg, a survivor of the school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School that left 17 people dead.

Three days ago, he called Hogg and other students who marched for gun control “mushy brained children” who have “no souls.”
