Netflix is expected to drop a crazy amount of money on new content in 2018.
The popular streaming service is expected to spend around eight billion dollars, according to Variety.
I can’t even envision how much money that is, but Netflix better create some great stuff for that much money. I will be extremely disappointed if Netflix spends eight billion dollars, and doesn’t crush the content game. The options are limitless with that kind of money in play.
Let’s also just be completely open and honest about Netflix. It has maybe been one of the coolest things ever invented. I’d also love to know how many babies can be directly tied back to people “chilling” while watching Netflix. It has to be in the six figures, if not in the millions.
Well, Netflix has set my expectations sky high. We’ll have to wait and see if they can produce.
