Presidents Donald Trump and Emmanuel Macron held a joint press conference in the East Room of the White House Tuesday, and POTUS had the gathered reporters and photographers cracking up with how he ended the ceremony.

Macron concluded his remarks by saying, “once again, that the discussions we had today, the ones we will have tomorrow are said not only by our historical bond but also by a sincere friendship, which I believe we share.”

Macron went on to thank President Trump and Melania for the warm reception they extended to him and his wife, Brigitte.

Trump must have taken the compliment very seriously, because he leaned in and kissed the French president right on the cheek.

The room broke into laughter.

“I like him a lot,” Trump added.
