Seth Meyers roasted his NBC colleague, Megyn Kelly, during NBCUniversal’s presentation at Radio City Music Hall in New York City Monday.

Meyers, 44, host of “Late Night with Seth Meyers,” made a jab at Kelly, 47, host of “Megyn Kelly Today,” after she previously stated while working for Fox News Jesus and Santa Claus are white, Dateline reported. Kelly made these claims while leading a Fox News panel during a 2013 episode of “The Kelly File,” Politico reported.

“NBC continues to produce highly rated musicals. NBC aired a live version of Jesus Christ Superstar this year starring John Legend … You know a network has some range when they have a black Jesus and Megyn Kelly,” Meyers said to the crowd Monday.

“By the way, for all you kids watching at home, Santa just is white,” Kelly said on “The Kelly File.” “Jesus was a white man too.” Kelly’s statements were in response to writer Aisha Harris’ claims Santa should no longer be depicted as a white man for children, she wrote in a Slate article. Kelly has caused controversy for other statements she made while hosting NBC’s “Megyn Kelly Today.” The host previously made headlines for questioning actress Jane Fonda on her plastic surgery, making fun of a gay “Will & Grace” superfan, saying she likes being fat-shamed, and claiming Hillary Clinton never inspired anyone while in office.
