Alisyn Camerota and Chris Cuomo were discussing a silly viral tweet that has gained popularity over the last day or so, and that’s when Cuomo used this little debate to take a shot at the president.
WATCH
Cuomo said, “It’s kind of like when we say ‘fact,’ the president hears ‘fake.’ Is it kind of like that?”
Camarota responds, “A little bit.”
Chris Cuomo then retorted, “Or is it actually nothing like that at all?”
The viral tweet is audio based, where the in the video a word is said, and people hear different things. Some people say they hear “yanny” while others hear “laurel.”
Ok this is blowing my mind. I hear “LAUREL.” Nobody else in the studio does. wat. pic.twitter.com/VwgdiPsmjE

In a news segment that is completely non-political, Cuomo brought it all back to the President of the United States. He also took the chance to say negative things about him.
During the news segment, Cuomo and Camerota displayed another viral controversy that dates back to 2015. A photo of a dress surfaced, but the color of it is what caused all of the debate. To some, it was gold and white, and when others looked at it, it appeared to be blue.
I still haven’t gotten the answer to the color of the dress. Was the dress blue & black or white & gold? #thedress pic.twitter.com/T2w4pk4exC

Based on Cuomo’s history with the president, it’s not surprising he took shots at the president while discussing a topic that couldn’t have been further from political in nature.
