Rapper Kendrick Lamar, upon learning that she knew all the words to his 2012 track “M.A.A.D City,” invited a white female fan to join him onstage on Sunday to perform with him.
But when the fan, named Delaney, dropped the n-word — which was written into the lyrics — he stopped the music and told her to not sing the word.
Another fan tweeted about the incident, claiming that she made him “nervous” because the performance was taking place at Alabama’s Hangout Festival in Gulf Shores and she happened to be white.
so he starts the track and she gets to the first n word of the song and she doesn’t say it, so i breathe a sigh of relief

but THEN she gets to the next one and SHE BELTS THAT SHIT OUT LIKE ITS HER OWN NAME

and kendrick let her keep going, as if to think “maybe she just slipped up once”, but NAH she said it loud and proud every time it popped up

Lamar then cut her off, as fans began to boo and shout expletives at her.
“You got to bleep one single word though.”
After she said she was sorry, Lamar gave her one more chance to perform, but she was so flustered that she stared mixing up the words.

Lamar then ended the song: “It’s over.”
But a few on Twitter stood up for her, saying that he if he didn’t want people to sing all the words he shouldn’t write words that some people aren’t allowed to say.
Kendrick Lamar stops his concert because the girl that he brought on stage to sing HIS song says all the lyrics & because she’s white she’s not supposed to say the N word that’s in the song? Kendrick can take the L for that. Don’t use the word if you don’t want ur fans saying it.
