President Trump held a roundtable Wednesday in New York for police officers and families that have been brutalized by the violent gang MS-13 — and there was one big moment the establishment media chose to ignore.
At that event was Freddy Cuevas, whose teenage daughter was murdered by MS-13 in Long Island. She was beaten with bats and machetes before having her body dumped in a ditch.
Cuevas was invited to the 2018 State of the Union by Donald Trump and joined him at the emotional town hall.
Cuevas thanked the president for the opportunity to speak, saying, “My daughter was a beautiful girl. She was a person that had achievements, had goals. And those were taken from her. She’s not here no longer because of the situation that these individuals — like you said, I think that you used the correct word, ‘animals,’ took her away from us and destroyed her dream.”
Trump caused a firestorm by calling MS-13 gang members “animals” last week.
“Hopefully we can eliminate them and make sure that it doesn’t happen again to any of the families or anybody else within our world,” Cuevas added.
