Former George W. Bush press secretary Ari Fleischer defended former president George H. W. Bush following President Trump’s comments at a rally in Montana Tuesday.
“This is so uncalled for,” tweeted Fleischer. “Going after a 94-year-old, former President’s promotion of volunteerism. I don’t mind potus being a fighter. I do mind him being rude.”

Fleischer responded to a tweet by CNN senior White House correspondent Jeff Zeleny Thursday:
In Montana, Trump takes a strange swipe at @GeorgeHWBush: “Thousand points of light. What does that mean? I know one thing. Make America Great Again we understand. Putting America first we understand. Thousand points of light, I never quite got that one. What the hell is that?”

The president spoke against sitting Montana Sen. Jon Tester at the rally and also directed a dare toward Sen. Elizabeth Warren, waging $1 million for her to take a DNA test. (RELATED: Trump Challenges Sen. Warren To A DNA Test Dare)
