White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders brushed off questions of whether chief of staff John Kelly was publicly displeased with President Donald Trump’s comments about Germany Wednesday.
Kelly appeared to be looking around the room while Trump lambasted Germany for not meeting its NATO defense obligations and signing a natural gas deal with Russia.

Sanders bemusingly brushed off such suggestions to The Washington Post, saying Kelly was simply “displeased because he was expecting a full breakfast and there were only pastries and cheese.”
