The Republican National Committee (RNC) has crushed the $200 million mark in fundraising for the midterm election cycle, with $47 million in cash on hand, more than five times that of the Democrats’ $9 million, CNN reports on Tuesday.
An RNC official says it’s the quickest the party has reached that milestone during a non-presidential election. The committee’s $13.9 million in fundraising during the month of June was also a record high for a midterm cycle.
Chaired by Ronna McDaniel, the RNC scooped in nearly $15 million during the month of May, another peak figure, the Washington Examiner reports. (RELATED: McDaniel Calls On DNC Chair To Address Party’s Ties To ‘America’s Leading Anti-Semite’ Louis Farrakhan)
McDaniel took several jabs at Democrats on Twitter recently, pointing to progressive candidate Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez stumbling through an explanation of her anti-Isreal comment.

And in response to the CNN report touting her party, McDaniel says “the Republican agenda is real.”
