CNN’s public relations arm hit back at President Donald Trump on Saturday, following a late night tweet from the president that criticized NBA star LeBron James and CNN’s own Don Lemon.
Sounds like @FLOTUS had the remote last night. We hope you both saw the incredible work of @KingJames. #BeBesthttps://t.co/3Ok0z9Z6Ro

The presidential tweet that set CNN off called Lemon “the dumbest man on television” and took a swing at James as well.
Lebron James was just interviewed by the dumbest man on television, Don Lemon. He made Lebron look smart, which isn’t easy to do. I like Mike!

Lemon added his own two cents as well, referencing the children separated from their families at the U.S.-Mexico border.
Who’s the real dummy? A man who puts kids in classrooms or one who puts kids in cages? #BeBest https://t.co/XO50qVksnR

Fellow CNN host Jake Tapper also came to Lemon’s defense, throwing out some unfavorable poll numbers.
Q poll on POTUS, June:
69 – 27 % say he is not a good role model for children;
56 – 41 % say he does not have good leadership skills;
64 – 32 % say he is not level-headed;
61 – 35 % say he does not share their values.https://t.co/tdDwUAnLmy https://t.co/n6MK4DHNv3— Jake Tapper (@jaketapper) August 4, 2018
