The New York Times has thought better of a poll asking readers whether they think Judge Brett Kavanaugh accuser Dr. Christine Blasey Ford is believable — or not.
It seems odd that the Gray Lady didn’t think ahead on this and weigh the ramifications of such a survey during such an important hearing.
But to the newspaper’s credit, they didn’t just delete it. They showed the poll and apologized.

The NYT individual handling the @NYTOpinion feed wrote that they had also planned to give the same treatment to Kavanaugh with a survey about his credibility.

President Trump raised the issue of the “failing New York Times” in yesterday’s whopper of a press conference. He ultimately said he still loves the newspaper.
