Drew Brees may have broken the NFL’s career passing record against the Redskins on Monday night, but it was the moment he shared with his children on the sidelines that’s really grabbing people’s attention.

The New Orleans Saints quarterback broke Peyton Manning’s record 71,940 career passing yards with just three minutes left of the first half when he launched a 62-yard touchdown pass to receiver Tre’Quan Smith. (RELATED: NFL Legend Breaks Iconic Peyton Manning Record With This Incredible Play)

“I love you guys so much,” Brees told them. “You can accomplish anything in life if you’re willing to work for it! Alright?”

Pretty impressive for a guy who only started for his high school J.V. team after the first string QB tore his ACL, and was only offered two D-1 scholarships in college.

I think he’s doing just fine now.
