Rap Legend Charged With Multiple Felonies. The Details Are Very Serious
Rapper Jim Jones has been hit with multiple felony charges stemming from a police chase back in June.
The “We Fly High” rapper was pulled over while allegedly in possession of drugs and a weapon while in Georgia.
Jim Jones is officially facing a handful of felony drug and firearm charges for his June arrest in Georgia after a police chase … TMZ has learned.
The rapper’s been hit with 3 counts of possession of a controlled substance and 2 counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony — so 5 felony charges total … according to new legal docs.
Jones has also been charged with a 6th count of possession of marijuana, less than an ounce … which is a misdemeanor.
I don’t want to sound too judgemental, but this seems like an easily avoidable situation. Jim Jones is not a nobody in the rap game. He’s made some absolute bangers. (RELATED: Arrest Warrant Issued For One Of The Most Famous Singers Alive. The Reason Why Is Very Troubling)
You’d think he wouldn’t be a situation where he’d be stopped while in possession of drugs and a firearm and then get hit with multiple felony charges. That’s what low-level players do in the rap game.
Yes, he’s been out of it for a bit, but it still doesn’t seem like something he would need to allegedly be a part of.
These also aren’t just minor things. Felony convictions are a great way to find yourself sitting behind bars, and he’s facing more than just one.
Hopefully he has the funds for a great attorney. It sounds like’s most certainly going to need one.
