Report: Director Spike Jonze Finds Armed Person In His Home, SWAT Action Ensues

Director Spike Jonze reportedly arrived home Tuesday and found a person in his Los Angeles place armed with a knife, soon after SWAT action ensued.

Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the 49-year-old director of such films as “Being John Malkovich” and “Three Kings” reportedly came face-to-face with the home intruder around 6 a.m. in his Los Feliz home before he managed to get away from the place to call cops. Sources claimed that the man was armed with a knife and refused to get out of the house after cops arrived. Soon after, the Los Angeles Police Department and SWAT officers surrounded the house. The outlet reported that, at this time, there are no reports of any injuries in the standoff. It is still unclear at this point the alleged suspect’s connection to Jonze, if any, and how exactly he obtained admittance to the director’s home. The man was later taken to a hospital in the area, per US Weekly.
