Jessica Andrade beat Rose Namajunas late Saturday night down in Brazil at UFC 237.
Namajunas, who was the women’s strawweight champion entering the fight, got slammed down on her neck in horrifying fashion, which quickly ended the fight. (SLIDESHOW: These UFC Women Really Hate Wearing Clothes)

You just hate to see something like this. Obviously, you have to give Andrade major props for defeating the champ, but it sucks to see Rose go down. (SLIDESHOW: These Are The Sexiest Paige VanZant Photos On The Internet)
She’s one of the most dominant and entertaining fighters in the sport. The Wisconsin-native is an absolute badass and has millions of fans around the world for that exact reason.
Now, it’s unclear what her future holds. She didn’t seem overly eager to fight again after losing to Andrade.

I hope we see her in the octagon again. I have no doubt last night was an incredibly tough loss to swallow. She’s a champion and champions don’t handle losing well.
She should take some time off, and then return to the fighting game. The sport is simply better off when she’s cracking skulls and becoming a huge star for Dana White.

You can’t win every fight you’re in, and Namajunas suffered a brutal defeat last night in front of all of Brazil.
Let’s all hope this isn’t the end of the road for her in the UFC.
