President Donald Trump’s three-point nationwide improvement among Hispanic and Latino voters in the 2020 election is a small piece of a larger story. Although Joe Biden held a nearly two-to-one national advantage with the voter group, Trump’s gains in South Florida and along the Rio Grande could signal a future merger of working class Republicans with Latinos taking a prominent role.
