Officers arrested a woman Sunday morning after she demanded entry into a Louisiana home while impersonating a police officer, according to police reports.

Michelle Medice, 41, allegedly impersonated a police officer wearing a badge and carried a fake handgun as she demanded entry into the home located in Terrebonne Parish, Louisiana. “Medice claimed she was a law enforcement officer which deputies prove to not be the truth, the law enforcement badge was also recovered,” the news release said.

Medice is being held in the Terrebonne Parish jail on a $10,000 bond, according to the news release. A person convicted of impersonating a police officer can spend up to two years in jail, according to Raleigh Bail Bonds.
