Plant-based recipes have been all the hype lately, with more and more people looking for ways to improve their health. Not only vegetarians like meatless dishes, but also those who care about eating something delicious yet still nutritious. Sharing such recipes and cooking tips is the mission of Jessica Mack, a vegetarian influencer who is renowned on Instagram for her expertise.

Before starting her More Than Meatless Monday blog, Jessica was an Occupational Therapist who had been in the industry for two decades. She was so passionate about health and her career that she learned as much as she could about food and health.

She graduated with a Degree in Occupational Therapy from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, CT. She also holds a Master of Science Degree in Counseling and holds a post-graduate certificate in Educational Leadership and Policy from the Long Island University situated in Brookville, NY. She also earned a Clinical Doctoral Degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

However, due to health complications, she couldn’t serve as an Occupational Therapist to the best of her abilities anymore. While she regretted retiring early, she knew that her medical career wasn’t all there was to her life. This was when she decided to enroll in a culinary program at the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts, share recipes, and host virtual cooking classes.

Jessica shares meatless recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, appetizers, desserts, salads, and soups on her blog. She makes the cooking procedures easy to understand so that even those who are just trying their hand at cooking can manage her instructions and follow through. This is one reason why her blog has become so popular on social media platforms, such as Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Due to her growing prominence, the number of people asking her for meatless recipes has also increased. Besides her blog, she also talks about her dishes in her cooking classes. The sessions are held virtually which allows for flexibility for her clients- as they can participate from anywhere in the world.

Jessica became more renowned as she reached more people through her online presence. She has been invited to numerous live cooking demonstrations, radio and television shows, and podcasts. Jessica became a vegetarian when she was five, so she knows by heart the benefits of plant-based dishes. Even so, she’s not pushy about it, and she doesn’t force anyone to live the same lifestyle as she does.

Through Jessica’s meatless recipes, many households have realized that it’s healthy to reduce their meat intake. Of course, it’s a choice to become a vegetarian or not, but it’s always good to eat healthy plant-based dishes every now and then. She also makes sure that the general public and even meat lovers find her recipes delicious and nutritious. It’s her mission to prove that meatless dishes are to be enjoyed by everyone.
