A surveillance camera caught a man punching an elderly woman, then stealing her purse and bible before taking off.

The incident happened around noon on Sunday when the woman was walking on a sidewalk near 21-12 36 Avenue when she was attacked, Patch reported.
The man dragged the woman into a parking pay station while she was trying to hold onto her purse. The robber eventually took it from her before running off on 35 Avenue, according to ABC 7.
EMS arrived on the scene to treat the woman for minor injuries, she got cuts on her hands from struggling with her attacker. She refused further medical attention, according to police.
