Voters in New York will elect representatives for 26 districts and one member to the U.S. Senate when they head to the ballot boxes on November 8. They must also cast their votes in the governor race, along with various municipal contests and a proposition relating to a $4.2 billion environmental bond.

Incumbent Chuck Schumer (D), the Senate Majority Leader, is up against GOP candidate Joe Pinion, a former television host from Yonkers, in the state’s only senate election. Schumer holds a double-digit lead over his little-known Republican rival in the polls. It is considered a slam-dunk, so U.S. betting sites are not taking bets on it. New York Governor Race

Ocasio-Cortez took more than 71% of the vote in 2020. She was unopposed in the 2022 Democratic primary, and she now faces Republican Tina Forte – who says “I have no shame and I have no filter” when discussing her straight-talking approach. Forte has branded Ocasio-Cortez a “crime surge creator.” However, AOC is expected to cruise to victory.
