One lucky Buffalo Bills fan had lots to be thankful for Thursday after wide receiver Stefon Diggs brought the child onto the field to toss the football.

Video footage shows Diggs walking up to the stands where a family, decked out in fan gear, was cheering. One woman held a sign that said the young boy’s Christmas wish was to play catch with Diggs.

The wide receiver wasted no time making wishes come true, picking the boy up over the stands and bringing him onto the field.

The young boy at first stood on the sidelines until he realized Diggs was gearing up for a game of catch. Diggs ran to the field, chased by the young boy, who then caught a pass in epic fashion. (RELATED: Hilarious Video Of Parents Decking Their Kids At Youth Football Practice Is Pure America)

The Buffalo Bills beat the Detroit Lions 28-25.

Diggs wasn’t just a hero for the young child, however. The wide receiver made the final two drives in the big game, delivering the team a victory, according to ESPN.

“You don’t need to say much to Diggs. You can see it in his eyes,” right guard Ryan Bates said, according to ESPN. “He gets in the huddle, he’s locked in, he’s ready to go. So, there’s not much you need to say to him. You look at him, ‘Hey, love you guys, let’s f—ing do it.’ But when he gets that look in his eye, you can’t tell him anything. He’s going out there, he’s gonna do his thing.”
