The mother of the seven-year-old Texas girl allegedly killed by a FedEx driver shared a heartbreaking video of her other daughter crying hysterically because she missed her “sissy” while unaware she’d never see her again.

Maitlyn Presley Candy shared the video on Facebook showing Rye hysterically crying for her sister on Nov. 27 while Athena Strand was visiting her father before the deadly incident.

“I kept telling her, ‘it’s okay, we will see sissy soon,’ not knowing how twisted our lives would become,” Gandy wrote on Facebook.

“I took it because she does this anytime she thinks sissy is going somewhere without her. She cried for thirty minutes straight in the car until she cried herself to sleep,” Gandy wrote. “This monster has now extended those feelings for my youngest daughter indefinitely.”

Strand went missing on Nov. 30 while in the care of her stepmother. Thirty-one year-old FedEx driver Tanner Lynn Horner was taken into custody Saturday after he allegedly abducted Strand from her driveway while delivering a package. Horner confessed to taking the girl and has been charged with capital murder and aggravated kidnapping after authorities found Strand’s body on Friday. Authorities believe Strand was killed within one hour of her abduction. The cause of death has yet to be revealed.

Gandy wrote on Facebook that “Athena’s cousins on my side of the family had to be told she’s never coming home again.”
